Cancellation Policy

We understand that from time to time you may wish to cancel or adjust a booking made with us. We have created this policy to enable you to return products to us in appropriate circumstances.

Cancelling a booking

When making a booking, either online on this website or by phone, we take a two/three/four night deposit which covers the first two/three/four nights of your stay for camping/touring holidays. For glamping bookings we take a 50% deposit instead. This payment is non-refundable in all circumstances. For dates with a minimum stay, we might take the full payment as a deposit, which covers your entire stay with us.

Cancelling all or part of a booking does not entitle you to a full or partial refund. If you cancel at least 21 days before the due arrival date, then you are entitled to carry your deposit onto another set of dates, if available, for that calendar year. Deposits may not be carried over to a following season and will be forfeited.

Cancelling within 21 days of arrival will forfeit your deposit paid for a booking, but you are not able to re-use your paid deposit to rebook any dates. This term is final, and deposits will not be refunded in any circumstance, not limited to bad weather, poor camping conditions, ill health, unforseen circumstance, or any other events outside of our control.

Any deposits and payments made through this website, and by phone, are therefore final, and non-refundable. By making a payment, you are also agreeing to paying any outstanding balance due on the due date before arrival to the site. If the pitch is cancelled at least 21 days before arrival any remaining balance is not due.

We are not liable to refund any deposits or payments or other expenses you might incur in the event of you being unable from fulfilling your Booking as a result of circumstances beyond our control. Such circumstances shall include (but not be limited to) war, terrorism, riots or civil unrest, industrial action, flooding, natural disaster, epidemics, health risks or such similar events ("Force Majeure"). We recommend that you have adequate holiday insurance in place to cover this.

We advise guests to seek travel insurance where appropriate. The deposit required is listed on the Camping, Glamping or Cottage pages as applicable.

Three Cliffs Guarantee

When booking, you may be offered to book using our Three Cliffs Guarantee rate. This allows you to cancel a booking at least 21 days prior to arrival and receive a full refund minus £9.99 to cover charges.
